Over the last several months this has become a space where I have been able to sit down on this journey, pour a cup of coffee and sort through the pieces of my heart. As well, it has caused me to remember the value and place of laughter in my life as much as my need to communicate. Need a good book to read on a friday night?

For anyone who likes to stay afloat of resources for the single person, here's the first chapter of a new book coming out by Camerin Courtney and Todd Hertz. I'm probably the roughest critic of any book that pertains to offering advice to the singleton but I really enjoyed Camerin's Table for One. She was surprisingly realistic and honest about the emotions, frustrations, and joys of being single.

Hi Blythe - great link. I didn't have a chance to read the whole thing yet (It's a little before 6:00 AM and I've got to get my coffee and QT going!) but what little I skimmed - wow! good stuff. I'm looking forward to reading this. It sounds like someone has stepped up and said, "Hey, this is what it's like for us..." Sometimes I feel robbed of my voice as a single woman. It's nice to hear a voice.
